Our Environment
Our classroom environment reflects our main development and educational goals. Our aim is to provide a safe and secure place for our kids and a space that promotes learning through group play, individual play, interaction and socialising. We also encourage physical activity in our fit-for-purpose designed outside space. We welcome you to come visit us and have a look at our space.Learn Through Play
We at Little Friends believe in teaching through play and discovery. We encourage our little ones to explore (in a safe environment) and to ask questions and be curious about the world around them. We have themes every term where we focus on specific topics and learn through playing, coloring, drawing, singing and crafting. There are so many different and creative ways to teach a child and we utlise as many of them as we can!
Our Mission & Vision
The focus of our group is for children to begin to interact with their peers, to be exposed to, and be encouraged to participate in, creative activities, music and movement and age appropriate numeracy and literacy skills. All of which will be aimed at their social, physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and psychological development.
By the age of 2 to 3 a child is ready for social interaction, however do still require a lot of individual attention, affection and emotional security. The small size of the group is conducive to this. Aside from the social benefits of peer interaction and the stimulation the creative aspects of the day will offer, they will also be introduced to a routine and structure that will assist them in preparing for more formal schooling later on.

I find my job completely rewarding, there is nothing better than teaching young minds and watching them grow, it is truly fascinating. ”
